Biography
Jason Isbell is an American singer-songwriter and actor. Born on 1 February 1979 in Green Hill, Alabama, he was a member of the band Drive-By Truckers from 2001 to 2007 before embarking on a solo career.
His acting credits include the role of Bill Smith in Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon (2023). He has also appeared in Billions (2021) and provided the voice of Pastor Nubbins in the animated series Squidbillies (2016–2021). Isbell has won multiple Grammy Awards in Americana and American roots categories.
