Biography
Jason Silvis is an American stunt performer, stunt coordinator, and occasional actor. Born on 1 February 1975 in Pennsylvania, he began working in film and television in the early 2000s.
He has performed stunts on numerous productions, including Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014), I Am Number Four (2011), Southpaw (2015) and An American Pickle (2020). Silvis has also served as stunt coordinator on films such as The Fault in Our Stars (2014), Fathers & Daughters (2015) and Last Flag Flying (2017). He appeared in a small acting role as the Garbage Truck Driver in Fences (2016).
Silvis later entered politics and represented Pennsylvania’s 55th district in the state House of Representatives as a Republican from 2021 to 2022.
