Biography
Jean-Claude Larrieu is a French cinematographer born on 20 September 1943 in Montastruc, Hautes-Pyrénées.
He has worked extensively with Spanish director Isabel Coixet on films including My Life Without Me (2003), The Secret Life of Words (2005), Julieta (2016) and The Bookshop (2017). He also served as director of photography on Pedro Almodóvar's Julieta (2016) and collaborated with Philippe Le Guay on several features.
Larrieu received awards from the Círculo de Escritores Cinematográficos for his work on The Secret Life of Words (2006) and The Bookshop (2018).
