Biography
Jean-François Sivadier is a French actor, playwright and theatre director. Born on 11 July 1963 in Le Mans, he trained at the Centre théâtral du Maine and the École supérieure d’art dramatique at the Théâtre National de Strasbourg, graduating in 1986. He has performed in productions directed by Alain Françon, Laurent Pelly, Stanislas Nordey and others, and has also directed numerous stage works, including operas at the Opéra de Lille.
On screen he is known for the role of Pierre in the series The Returned (2012–2015). His other screen credits include K.O. (2017) as Benezer and The Love Letter (2021) as Majoux. He has received several theatre awards, including a Molière for his direction of La Mort de Danton.
