Biography
Jean-Marc Minéo is a French actor, director and screenwriter. Born in 1958, he was a high-level kung-fu athlete, six times French champion and a member of the team that won the world cup in Taiwan in 1987. He trained at the Shaolin Temple and later worked as a fight choreographer and stage choreographer, including for a Johnny Hallyday concert at the Parc des Princes.
Minéo began appearing in films in the late 1990s with small roles, including the Gunsmith in Baise-moi (2000) and Seated Guard in Femme Fatale (2002). He has acted in more than thirty films and television productions. He has also directed short films and features such as Bangkok Revenge (2011) and Gates of the Sun (2014).
