Biography

Jeany Spark is an English actress. She studied English literature at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, graduating with a First-Class Honours degree in 2004, and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 2007.

Spark is known for portraying Linda Wallander in the BBC series Wallander (2008–2016). Her other television roles include Emma in the Channel 4 comedy Man Down (2013–2016), Detective Inspector Kate Gemmill in the BBC drama The Interceptor (2015), Captain Sandrine Shaw in the BBC miniseries Collateral (2018), and appearances in Sherlock (2010), Black Mirror (2011), Line of Duty (2012) and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022).

On stage she has appeared in productions including Skylight at Theatr Clwyd (2017) and Crooked Dances for the Royal Shakespeare Company (2019).
