Biography
Jeff Abugov is a Canadian television writer and producer. Born on 31 December 1959 in Montreal, Quebec, he graduated from Concordia University Film School, where his student films won awards at the Canadian Student Film Festival.
Abugov began his career as a freelance writer on the NBC sitcom Cheers in the mid-1980s, later serving as a staff writer and story editor. He advanced to executive story editor on The Golden Girls and contributed as a writer and producer to Roseanne, Grace Under Fire and Two and a Half Men. He also wrote episodes of That's So Raven and served as consulting producer on the series. In 1999 he wrote and directed the feature film The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human. Later credits include developing and producing the animated series Fugget About It.
