Biography
Jeff Jensen is an American writer and journalist. A native of Seattle, Washington, he graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He began his career as a reporter for Advertising Age from 1992 to 1998, then joined Entertainment Weekly in 1998, where he worked until 2017 and served as chief television critic from 2013 to 2017.
Jensen wrote the Eisner Award-winning graphic novel Green River Killer: A True Detective Story (2011), illustrated by Jonathan Case. He received story credit and served as executive producer on the film Tomorrowland (2015). For the HBO series Watchmen (2019), he worked as story editor and co-wrote the episode "A God Walks Into Abar" with Damon Lindelof, earning Hugo and Nebula Award nominations.
