Biography
Jeff Martin is an American television writer and producer. Born in Boston, he attended Harvard University, where he wrote for The Harvard Lampoon. He wrote for Late Night with David Letterman during the 1980s and occasionally appeared on the show as Flunky the late-night viewer mail clown.
Martin joined the writing staff of The Simpsons (1989) for its second through fifth seasons, serving as a writer, story editor and producer. He left with much of the original staff in 1993 and returned over twenty years later to write episodes for seasons 27 and 28, including some co-written with his daughters. He has also written for Listen Up!, Baby Blues and Homeboys in Outer Space.
He is married to television producer and writer Suzanne Martin.
