Biography
Jeff Monahan is an American actor, screenwriter, producer and director. He began his career after working for three years as a police officer, including undercover narcotics duties; this experience informed his first screenplay.
He is known for film roles including Young Hollis in Lone Star (1996), Wes in The Dark Half (1993), O'Toole in Last Flag Flying (2017) and Tom Burtram in Bruiser (2000). Other credits include Two Evil Eyes (1990) and Graduation (2007). Monahan has also appeared in television series such as Outsiders (2016–2017) and Sprung (2022).
His theatre work includes productions with the Pittsburgh Public Theater and in New York. He has taught acting, film production and screenwriting, and is the author of the book Write Your Movie.
