Biography
Jeff Peterson is a Hawaiian slack-key guitarist and composer. He has recorded additional music for the soundtrack of The Descendants (2011), including the track "Hawaiian Skies", and five of his songs appear in the film.
Peterson has released several solo albums of slack-key music and won multiple Na Hōkū Hanohano Awards. He received Grammy nominations for his work and has collaborated with other Hawaiian artists; his music has also featured on Grammy-winning recordings in the Hawaiian category.
