Biography
Jeff Rake is an American television writer and producer. He began his career as a lawyer, having earned a J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law and clerked for federal judges before joining a Los Angeles law firm.
Rake entered television as co-creator of the Fox series The Street (2000) and later co-created Miss Match (2003) and The Mysteries of Laura (2014). He wrote and produced episodes of Boston Legal (2004), co-wrote its pilot, and created Manifest (2018), on which he also served as showrunner.
