Biography
Jeff Rawle is a British actor. He was born on 20 July 1951 in Birmingham and trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art after working at the Sheffield Playhouse.
Rawle first gained notice as Billy Fisher in the television series Billy Liar (1973–1974). He is known for portraying George Dent in the sitcom Drop the Dead Donkey (1990–1998) and Silas Blissett in Hollyoaks (2010–2022). His other television roles include appearances in Doctor Who, Doc Martin and Midsomer Murders. Film credits include Amos Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005) and Frith in Rebecca (2020).
