Biography
Jennifer Balgobin is an actress. She played Debbi in the film Repo Man (1984).
Of East Indian descent, she settled in Los Angeles in 1983 and began her acting career. She appeared in three films directed by Alex Cox: Repo Man (1984), Straight to Hell (1987) and Repo Chick (2009). Writer-director John Hughes cast her in Weird Science (1985) after seeing her performance in Repo Man. She also appeared in Out of Bounds (1986) alongside Anthony Michael Hall.
Her other credits include Cherry 2000 (1987), Vibes (1988), Baby Boom (1987), Contact (1997) as Dr Patel, and television appearances in ER (1995), Babylon 5 (1996–1998) and Space: Above and Beyond (1996).
