Biography
Jeremy Hotz is a Canadian-American actor and stand-up comedian. Born on 31 May 1963 in Cape Town, South Africa, he has appeared in films including Speed 2: Cruise Control (1997) as Ashton and My Favorite Martian (1999) as Billy.
Hotz has performed stand-up at the Just For Laughs festival and on television programmes such as Comedy Central Presents. He won a Gemini Award for his role in the series The Newsroom (1996–2005) and has credits as a writer on series including Married Life (1995). He also appeared as himself in Misery Loves Comedy (2015).
