Biography
Jeremy Newson was a British actor and director. He appeared as Ralph Hapschatt in The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) and reprised the role in the sequel Shock Treatment (1981). He also had a supporting part in McCabe & Mrs. Miller (1971).
Newson later worked extensively as a director and producer of television documentaries, focusing on the fashion, music and entertainment industries. His credits include series such as The Look (1992) and The Music Biz (1995).
He was born on 7 April 1947 in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, and died on 16 December 2020 in England.
