Biography
Jeremy Scahill is an American investigative journalist and author. He appears as himself in the documentary Citizenfour (2014), directed by Laura Poitras, which covers the NSA surveillance disclosures by Edward Snowden. He is also credited as writer and appears in the 2013 documentary Dirty Wars, which he co-produced with Richard Rowley.
Scahill co-founded the online news publication The Intercept. His other work includes the book Blackwater: The Rise of the World's Most Powerful Mercenary Army.
