Biography
Jeri Emmett was an American television writer active in the 1960s. She received teleplay credits on four episodes of the series The Fugitive (1966–1967), as well as two episodes of Iron Horse (1967) and one episode each of Mannix (1967) and The Bold Ones: The Protectors (1969, as Betty Deveraux).
Born in Grants Pass, Oregon, Emmett worked as a Playboy Bunny in Los Angeles before turning to writing. In 1966 she published the memoir Point Your Tail in the Right Direction, recounting her experiences at the Playboy Club. She was married to producer and writer Jack Laird from 1964 until their divorce in 1974.
