Biography
Jerome Ross was an American television writer. Born in New York City on 10 February 1911, he began his career as a reporter before moving into radio and then television writing in the early 1950s.
He contributed scripts to numerous anthology and episodic series, including multiple episodes of Studio One and Marcus Welby, M.D., as well as single episodes of The Outer Limits (1963) and Mannix (1967). His work on Mission: Impossible (1966) included the episode 'Operation Rogosh'.
Ross received two Edgar Awards from the Mystery Writers of America for best television suspense drama, in 1953 for an episode of Studio One and in 1967 for 'Operation Rogosh'. He died on 11 February 2012.
