Biography

Jerry Hausner (born James Bernard Hausner) was an American radio, film and television actor. He began his career in stock theatre and vaudeville, later working in radio at WJAY in Cleveland, Ohio, and appeared on Broadway as Sammy Schmaltz in Queer People (1934).

Hausner was known for recurring roles on I Love Lucy (1951) as Ricky Ricardo's agent Jerry, voice work as Waldo in the Mr. Magoo cartoons and characters including Hemlock Holmes in The Dick Tracy Show (1961), and as dialogue director on both series. He played the Proprietor of Cafe in Stanley Kubrick's Paths of Glory (1957). He died in Los Angeles in 1993.
