Biography

Jerry Tokofsky was an American agent, film producer and studio executive. He began his career as a talent agent and by the 1960s had become a studio executive at Columbia Pictures, serving as a vice-president in 1966 and later heading the creative affairs department.

Tokofsky produced Where's Poppa? (1970) and was executive producer of Born to Win (1971). He co-produced Dreamscape (1984) and Fear City (1984), and produced Glengarry Glen Ross (1992) with Stanley Zupnik after they acquired the film rights to David Mamet's play. He also produced The Grass Harp (1995).

Tokofsky died in New York City on 5 October 2025.
