Biography
Jerzy Walczak is a Polish actor born on 16 May 1962 in Żory. He has been a member of the ensemble at Teatr Żydowski in Warsaw since 1980 and graduated from the theatre's acting school in 1982.
His film credits include Jacob Berestycki in In Darkness (2011) and Rabbi Frankel in Son of Saul (2015). He has also appeared in Korczak (1990) and earlier Polish productions such as Austeria (1982). Walczak has received the Silver Cross of Merit (2005) and medals for cultural merit.
