Biography

Jess Hall is a British cinematographer. He was born on 16 March 1971 in Birmingham and studied at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and New York University.

His credits include Hot Fuzz (2007), The Spectacular Now (2013), Ghost in the Shell (2017), WandaVision (2021) and The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025). He has worked repeatedly with director Matt Shakman. Hall is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers and the British Society of Cinematographers.
