Biography
Jesse Spencer is an Australian actor and musician. He began his career as Billy Kennedy on the Australian soap opera Neighbours (1994–2000, with later guest appearances in 2005 and 2022). For the role he received Logie Award nominations, winning Most Popular TV Actor in 1999.
Spencer gained international recognition as Dr Robert Chase on the American medical drama House (2004–2012). He later starred as Captain Matthew Casey on Chicago Fire (2012–2021, with subsequent guest returns). His other credits include the films Uptown Girls (2003) and Swimming Upstream (2003).
