Biography
Jessica Makinson is an American actress, comedian and improviser. Born in Tempe, Arizona, she graduated from Arizona State University with a BA in theatre in 2000 and trained in improvisation in Los Angeles.
She made her screen debut as Denise in My Own Private Idaho (1991), credited as Jessie Thomas. Makinson has contributed voices to South Park since 2002, including Heidi Turner and Strong Woman, and appeared in series such as Halfway Home (2007) as Carly Barzac and Maron (2013–2015) as Michelle Coyote. She has also performed sketch and improv work for late-night television and Comedy Central programmes.
