Biography
Jessica Rothe is an American actress, born Jessica Ann Rothenberg on 28 May 1987 in Denver, Colorado. She began ballet lessons at the age of eight and attended summer theatre camps in Kansas City. She graduated from Boston University with a BFA in 2009.
Rothe is known for her role as Alexis in La La Land (2016) and as Theresa 'Tree' Gelbman in Happy Death Day (2017) and its sequel Happy Death Day 2U (2019). She appears in Beware Boiúna (2026). Other credits include Forever My Girl (2018), All My Life (2020) and the series Utopia (2020). She is married to actor Eric Clem.
