Biography
Jessica Walter was an American actress. She trained at the High School of the Performing Arts and the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York City, and began her career on the stage with Broadway appearances including Photo Finish (1963).
She appeared in films such as The Group (1966), Grand Prix (1966) and Play Misty for Me (1971). On television she starred as the title character in Amy Prentiss (1974–75), for which she won a Primetime Emmy Award, and played Lucille Bluth in Arrested Development (2003–19). She also voiced Malory Archer in the animated series Archer (2009–21).
Walter died in Manhattan on 24 March 2021.
