Biography
Jesús Olmo is a Spanish screenwriter. He studied Information Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid and film direction at the TAI school. His early credits include co-writing the short films Esposados (1996), directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo and nominated for an Academy Award, and Ruleta (1999).
Olmo co-wrote the screenplay for the horror film 28 Weeks Later (2007), directed by Fresnadillo, with Rowan Joffé and Enrique López Lavigne. He later wrote the screenplay for Cold Skin (2017), an adaptation of the novel by Albert Sánchez Piñol directed by Xavier Gens. He has also directed and edited short films and written novels.
