Biography
Jewel Palovak is a producer and advocate for grizzly bear preservation. She appears as Self - Grizzly People in the documentary Grizzly Man (2005), directed by Werner Herzog, and served as its co-executive producer.
With Timothy Treadwell, she co-founded the organisation Grizzly People and co-wrote the book Among Grizzlies: Living with Wild Bears in Alaska (1997). She was also executive producer of the television series The Grizzly Man Diaries (2008).
