Biography
Jill Dixon is an English actress. Born in 1935, she made her stage debut at the age of three as a water nymph at the London Hippodrome and began appearing on screen in 1954.
She is known for her role as Mrs. Clarke in the film A Night to Remember (1958). Dixon has appeared in other films including Witchcraft (1964) and has worked extensively in television, with credits including Our Mutual Friend (1958–1959), Persuasion (1960–1961) and The Professionals (1980).
Primarily a theatre and television performer, she has also acted in Shakespeare productions such as Much Ado About Nothing, King Lear and Love's Labour's Lost.
