Biography
Jill Lamantia appeared as herself in the 2019 documentary American Factory. She is shown working as a forklift operator at the Fuyao Glass America plant in Dayton, Ohio. After the closure of a nearby General Motors plant in 2008, she is depicted living in her sister's basement before securing employment at the new factory, which enables her to move into her own apartment. She later supports efforts to unionise the workforce.
