Biography
Jim Booth was a New Zealand film producer. He was born on 7 February 1945 in Auckland and died on 4 January 1994 in Wellington.
Booth produced Peter Jackson's early feature films Meet the Feebles (1989), Braindead (1992) and Heavenly Creatures (1994). The last received a posthumous credit. He also served as executive producer on the short film Valley of the Stereos (1992) and appeared as an actor in Braindead.
Prior to producing, Booth directed the New Zealand Film Commission from 1983 to 1988. He later established Midnight Films to work with Jackson.
