Biography
Jim Kempner is an American actor and art dealer. He has operated Jim Kempner Fine Art in New York since 1987, opening a gallery in Chelsea in 1997 that represents contemporary artists and deals in prints.
Kempner appeared as the Art Gallery Owner in Steven Soderbergh's film The Girlfriend Experience (2009). He created, wrote and starred in the web series The Madness of Art, and has acted in shorts including The Celebrity of Art (2022) and Hopeful (2021), as well as the series superUser Do (2020).
