Biography
Jim Mulholland is an American television writer and film screenwriter. Born in Rockville Centre, New York, he began his career at the age of nineteen as the youngest writer on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.
He has written for series including The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970) and Welcome Back, Kotter (1975), and contributed to late-night programmes such as Late Show with David Letterman (1994–2015). Mulholland co-wrote the screenplays for Amazon Women on the Moon (1987), Oscar (1991) and Bad Boys (1995). He has received twenty Primetime Emmy nominations and a Writers Guild Award.
