Biography
Jim Papoulis is a composer and conductor whose work spans film, choral music, dance and ensembles. He is credited as composer on the 2005 film Good Night, and Good Luck. and on earlier features including Going Nomad (1998).
Papoulis composes, orchestrates and conducts music that combines contemporary, classical and world elements with voices and technology. He has written extensively for youth choirs and is associated with Boosey & Hawkes. His commissions include scores for documentaries such as Tunahaki (2010) and Comedy Warriors: Healing Through Humor (2013).
He founded the Foundation for Small Voices to support children’s music programmes and has received awards including JW Pepper’s Editor’s Choice and Telly Awards.
