Biography
Jimmica Collins is an American actor, performer and voiceover artist. She graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a B.F.A. in Theatre.
Collins trained as a puppeteer with Sesame Workshop, The Jim Henson Company and the Center for Puppetry Arts. She performs on Sesame Street as Grandma Nell and other characters, and on the PBS series Donkey Hodie. She voices Betty Bunny in the 2026 film Buddy.
She is a 2019 Princess Grace Honorarium Award recipient for puppetry and won a 2018 Suzi Bass Award for her stage performance in The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane.
