Biography
Jimmy Ling is a sound editor and film editor. He worked in the sound department on numerous feature films and television productions from the late 1970s onwards, with credits including sound effects editor on The Natural (1984), sound editor on Rain Man (1988) and American Me (1992), and supervising sound editor on Happy Together (1989).
He is credited as editor (as James B. Ling) on Tarzan the Ape Man (1981) and has additional editing credits on Maangamizi: The Ancient One (1999) and Chasing Tchaikovsky (2007). Ling received a Primetime Emmy nomination for his sound work.
