Biography
Jimmy Somerville is a Scottish singer and actor. Born in Glasgow, he rose to prominence in the 1980s as lead vocalist with the synth-pop groups Bronski Beat and The Communards.
Somerville has appeared in several films and television productions, including the role of Singer/Angel in Sally Potter's Orlando (1992) and Satin in the series Lexx (1997). He has also featured in Isaac Julien's Looking for Langston (1989).
