Biography

Jo Anderson is an American actress. Born in 1958 in Brooklyn, New York, she was raised in Tenafly, New Jersey. She attended the Academy of the Holy Angels and studied at Adelphi University.

Anderson's screen credits include the role of Sister Madeleine/Starlet in Dead Again (1991) and Julia Ann Mercer in JFK (1991). She appeared in Daylight (1996) and guest-starred in television series including ER (1994), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000), CSI: Miami (2002) and Glee (2009). Earlier work includes a recurring role in Beauty and the Beast (1989–1990) and a lead part in the series Sisters (1994–1995). She also starred in the one-woman play Marie in 1985.
