Biography
Jo Anne Worley is an American actress, comedian and singer. Born on 6 September 1937 in Lowell, Indiana, she began performing after high school with the Pickwick Players and studied at Midwestern State University, Los Angeles City College and the Pasadena Playhouse. She gained national prominence as a regular on the sketch comedy series Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In (1968–1973).
Worley has made numerous guest appearances on television, including roles in Boy Meets World (1993), Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (1996), Bones (2005), Wizards of Waverly Place (2007), Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000), The Middle (2009) and Jessie (2011). Her voice work includes the Wardrobe in Beauty and the Beast (1991) and Miss Maples in A Goofy Movie (1995). She has also performed in musical theatre productions such as Grease and Wicked.
She was married to actor Roger Perry from 1975 until their divorce in 2000.
