Biography
Jo Prestia (born 5 June 1960) is an Italian-born French actor and former professional Muay Thai kickboxer. He arrived in France at the age of ten and competed successfully in the 1980s and 1990s, winning multiple French, European and world titles before retiring from the ring with a record of 70 wins from 85 bouts.
Prestia began acting in the mid-1990s and has appeared in more than seventy films and television productions. He is best known for his role as Le Tenia (The Tapeworm) in Gaspar Noé's Irreversible (2002). Other credits include Femme Fatale (2002), 36th Precinct (2004), The Horde (2010), Alibi.com (2017) and The Takedown (2022).
