Biography

Joachim Król is a German actor born on 17 June 1957 in Herne, West Germany. He trained at the Otto-Falckenberg-Schule in Munich from 1981 to 1984 and has worked extensively in theatre, including at the Bochumer Schauspielhaus and Schauspielhaus Köln.

He is known for film and television roles including Norbert Brommer in Maybe... Maybe Not (1994), Norbert von Au in Run Lola Run (1998), Walter Riemer in The Princess and the Warrior (2000), Hermann van Pels in the television film Anne Frank: The Whole Story (2001), and Wolfgang Abeck in Wonderfully Beautiful (2022). He was a co-founder of the Deutsche Filmakademie in 2003.

Król is married to Heidrun Teusner Król and lives in Cologne.
