Biography
Joan Baez (born Joan Chandos Baez, 9 January 1941) is an American folk singer, songwriter and activist. She appears as herself in numerous documentary films and television programmes, including Woodstock (1970), Don't Look Back (1967), The Muppet Show (1976), Live Aid (1985) and No Direction Home: Bob Dylan (2005).
Baez is also credited in Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story by Martin Scorsese (2019) and Ennio (2022). Her film and television work consists primarily of performances and archive appearances as herself.
