Biography
Jocelyne Chaput is a film editor and writer. She edited and wrote the documentary Fire of Love (2022), directed by Sara Dosa.
Her other editing credits include the feature documentary People of a Feather (2011) and numerous short films such as Starlight & Other Sounds: the music of Alexina Louie (2021) and Into Light (2021). She has also contributed as a writer and story editor on projects including Curl Power (2024).
For Fire of Love, Chaput received the American Cinema Editors Eddie Award for Best Edited Documentary – Theatrical, the Sundance Film Festival Jonathan Oppenheim Editing Award, the Cinema Eye Honors Award for Outstanding Achievement in Editing, and the International Documentary Association Award for Best Writing.
