Biography
Jodie Prenger is an English actress and singer. She was born on 12 June 1979 in Blackpool, Lancashire. She trained at Elmslie Girls' School and Blackpool and the Fylde College, and began her career performing on the Northern England cabaret circuit and in local theatre.
Prenger came to prominence after winning the BBC talent show I'd Do Anything in 2008, which led to the role of Nancy in the West End revival of Oliver!. Her television credits include guest appearances in Hustle (2012) and Shakespeare & Hathaway - Private Investigators (2022), and a recurring role in Jamie Johnson (2017–2018).
Since 2022 she has played Glenda Shuttleworth in the ITV soap Coronation Street. She also appeared as Debbie Green in the BBC series Years and Years (2019).
