Biography
Jody Patton is an American film producer and president of Vulcan Productions, an independent production company founded by Paul G. Allen. She studied drama at Whitman College and has overseen the development and financing of feature films and documentaries through the company.
Patton produced Far from Heaven (2002), directed by Todd Haynes and starring Julianne Moore and Dennis Quaid. Her other credits include producing Titus (1999), directed by Julie Taymor, and serving as executive producer on Bickford Shmeckler's Cool Ideas (2006). Vulcan Productions films under her leadership have included The Safety of Objects (2001) and Coastlines (2002).
She has also been executive director of the Paul G. Allen Foundations and held roles including vice chair of First & Goal Inc.
