Biography
Joe Bautista (1898–1973) was a Filipino-American actor who appeared in numerous Hollywood films, primarily in uncredited supporting roles.
Born in Manila, he worked in the United States from the 1930s onward. His credits include an uncredited appearance as Thomasino in A Letter to Three Wives (1949), as well as parts in Buy Me That Town (1941), Singapore (1947), Because You're Mine (1952) and several other features, often portraying houseboys, butlers or similar characters. He also made brief television appearances in the early 1950s, including episodes of Crown Theatre with Gloria Swanson and Your Jeweler's Showcase.
