Biography
Joe Dominguez was a Mexican-born actor who appeared in numerous Hollywood films and television productions from the 1920s to the late 1960s.
Born Jose J. Dominguez on 19 March 1894 in Chihuahua, Mexico, he died on 11 April 1970 in Woodland Hills, California. He worked under several variants of his name and took many uncredited or supporting roles, often in Westerns.
His film credits include Fighting Fate (1921), Viva Zapata! (1952) as Manuel, The Hitch-Hiker (1953), Man of the West (1958) as Mexican Man, The Chase (1966) as Worker and I Love You, Alice B. Toklas! (1968) as Grandfather Rodriguez. On television he appeared in series such as Perry Mason, Zorro and The Big Valley.
