Biography
Joe Gannon is a writer, producer and director who has worked primarily in American television. His credits include episodes of Law & Order (2001), Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2003), In the Heat of the Night (1991–1995), Friday the 13th: The Series (1989), A Different World (1987), Max Headroom (1987), Hunter (1987) and The Twilight Zone (1985). He has also written for Moonlighting (1985) and contributed to the screenplay for the feature Solar Crisis (1990).
Earlier in his career Gannon worked in the UK as a film editor at the BBC and on feature films for Stanley Long. He later moved to the United States, where he wrote, produced and directed for series including Archie Bunker's Place and Gloria. He has also served as a producer on multiple episodes of In the Heat of the Night.
