Biography
Joe Kraemer is an American composer and conductor of film and television scores. Born on 21 June 1971 in Buffalo, New York, and raised in Albany, he began composing at the age of 15 for a Super 8 film by his high-school friend Scott Storm. He studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Kraemer has collaborated repeatedly with director Christopher McQuarrie, scoring The Way of the Gun (2000), Jack Reacher (2012) and Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (2015). His other credits include Joy Ride 2: Dead Ahead (2009) and The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then the Bigfoot (2019). His score for Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation won the IFMCA Award for Best Original Score for an Action/Adventure/Thriller film.
